Located in the busy hub of the Loop 101 and Bell Road, the Carvana Vending Machine Tower project featured the multi-story “Version 4.0” glass vehicle handling tower for the Phoenix-originated online car sales giant, Carvana. This vending machine is the first of its kind to be located in Gilbert, designed to make the car buying experience more enjoyable. Customers simply drop their commemorative coin into the vending machine coin slot. Then, the coin receptacle illuminates and audio/visual effects are displayed for the customer to see and hear. The vending machine then retrieves the vehicle from the tower and places it on a track, which moves the car through the machine and delivers it to one of the delivery bays. The experience concludes when the bay doors open and the customer has access to their new car.
